Another New Formation in Wiltshire.
Image
Boreham Wood, nr Lockeridge, Wiltshire, 1st July 2017, Wheat, 200ft approx.

The crop circle lies front and centre of the horseshoe shape of trees that is Boreham Wood. This circle is in fact very close-by to the previously reported circle at Langdean Bottom on the 26th of June. It is also very close to West Woods which have seen many formations in the fields close to it over the years. The ancient West Woods is popular with walkers, particularly in the spring where the woodland floor is carpeted with bluebells (wild flowers) – a very enchanting sight. West Woods also contains a small longbarrow known as West Woods Barrow, or Barrow Cospe.

The crop circle measures approximately 200ft in diameter and is a seven-petalled flower contained within two concentric rings. At the centre of the flower is a stylised cube (hexagonal) – very much like the cube seen in the centre of the Waden Hill crop circle back in April. At Waden Hill the cube was surrounded by a design of six, nested banana shapes.

Exploring the Crop Circle Phenomenon
28th, 29th & 30th July 2017 – The Ballroom, The Bear Hotel, Devizes, Wiltshire, UK.

There is a lot of information about the conference on our website, if you would prefer to download the information and read it at your leisure then please click on the image (above) to download our 12 page brochure which includes all the information on this page.

Re-Visioning our Crop Circle Conference: It has been over ten years since we first began the Summer Crop Circle Lectures and during that time the crop circle phenomenon while remaining constant has changed enormously. The way we think about the subject and interact with the circles has moved on and so has the way we view the conference, so for 2017 we have re-visioned the event, freshening it up. Forging a new ethos: One thing we have wanted to do for a while was bring a new ethos to the idea of the conference; something that looked a little less like entertainment and felt more like community and collegiality. It was time for the conference to mature and become a place where the crop circles were not only enjoyed and celebrated, but where people can come and join in the conversation, share their experiences and participate in a more inclusive and collaborative way.

About Us.
Steve Alexander has been photographing the crop circles for twenty years. During that time he and Karen have provided a important service to the crop circle world by supplying professional quality photographic imagery of the circles to researchers, the media and the general public.

Since 1999 they have produced an annual Year Book showcasing the very best formations of each year along with a written commentary researched by Karen Alexander. The Crop Circle Year Book books are beautifully produced and they contain some of the best crop circle photography you will find anywhere. They are self-published, in small numbers and are not widely available, many consider them to be the most important crop circle documents available.
