The Coming of the Eclipse? |
|
The historic location of Longwood Warren reflects possibly on what’s to come in the heavens. Longwood Warren, nr Cheesefoot Head, Hampshire 17th June 2017, wheat crop, 200ft approx.
This part of Hampshire has a long crop circle history with some of the earliest recorded crop circles appearing there in the 1970s and 1980s. The central feature of the landscape here is the Cheesefoot Head (or
Matterly Bowl) which is a stunning natural amphitheatre that affords spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. In years gone by the Bowl was the location for several spectacular crop circles.
This circle appears to be a motif based on the conjoining of the sun and moon – some immediately associated it with the coming eclipse on August 21st 2017 – which will be a total eclipse visible from some parts of the United States. More broadly speaking, this marriage is a
union of Divine Opposites – Sun and Moon – and then all other seeming opposites. Click link to visit our website, and to read more, and to see more images.

Longwood Warren, Hampshire | 26th June 1995 | Barley. Image copyright Steve Alexander.
This formation caused a stir as it showed a solar system (Earths so it seems) but the Earth is missing on its shown orbit. It was and still is a formation that is remarked on, and referred to, after all these years. At the time it alarmed people, as the formation might some thought predict the Earths demise. When though, was, and is,
unknown.

Steve Alexander has been photographing the crop circles for twenty years. During that time he and Karen have provided a important service to the crop circle world by supplying professional quality photographic imagery of the circles to researchers, the media and the general public. Since 1999 they have produced an annual Year Book showcasing the very best formations of each year along with a written commentary researched by Karen Alexander. The Crop Circle Year Book books are beautifully produced and they contain some of the best crop circle photography you will find anywhere. They are self-published, in small numbers and are not widely available, many
consider them to be the most important crop circle documents available. To keep up with the latest circles as they happen you can subscribe to our free newsletter.
