Milk Hill, nr Stanton St. Bernard, Wiltshire Reported 25th May, 2017, barley crop.
Thank you to the hand full of people who made a donation towards this photographic flight, and made it possible.
The fields above and below Milk Hill have been host to an enormous amount of iconic and famous crop circles over the years. One of the fields on top of the Hill was the location of the Milk Hill Galaxy Spiral formation of 2001 – one of the most famous crop circles of all time.
Visiting: Please note that the farmer is not allowing visitors without his express permission.
This new circle in 2017 lies in
one of the fields below the hill and is in barley crop. It measures approximately 180-190ft in diameter. The design is four-fold in nature, an equal-armed cross with a extra design component on one of the arms. The circle is beautifully made, the sweep of the crop in the interior is stunning.

Gypsy Lane , nr Chilcombe, Hampshire. Wheat Crop.
Reported 25th May, 2017.
This circle is located very to the Winchester Science Centre and Planetarium. There have been many
circles around this location going back years, including one last year – see here
This circle measured approximately 180ft in diameter and
was in a field of very young wheat. The circle appeared very lightly pressed and very springy. It’s very unusual to have a circle in such a immature crop, it means the design will have less definition that one would normally see in maturer plants. The design itself is another four-fold pattern based on concentric rings and alternate standing and flattened sections – a duality and quaternary contained within a
whole (a circle).

Flight Fund 2017. Can You Make a Donation to Help Us Record the Crop Circles
Today? |
|
We really, need your help and support to raise funds to help pay for this seasons photographic flights.
Please Help to keep us Flying in 2017: If you have enjoyed looking at our pictures and information please consider making a small donation to keep us flying.
There are so few of us left regularly recording the circles it’s really important that we continue. And while some now use drones to record the circles, it is important that there are still images taken from aircraft where the best quality camera equipment can be used and images that include the broad vista of the landscape can be taken. This kind of photography is expensive and it gets harder with each passing year to raise the funds we need to continue our work, but if everyone who regularly
looked at this website made a small donation we would meet the funds we need. You can make a donation here.
Thank you Steve & Karen.
