The Circle and Its Centre.
Posted by Michael Glickman on January 23, 2017.

Rereading my last piece (Antsy [but not nasty] about Ansty) of November 23rd 2016 I returned to the eternally recurring question of the circle’s centre. Ansty was a formation with eight or ten concentric circles. Concentricity, by definition, requires that the many circles share a single centre. The centre at Ansty (1) was an immaculate three-leaf device in a totally undisturbed area. How was this done? Somebody must answer this question. MG.

Michael Glickman visited his first crop circle in 1990 after which he remarked that “he never got out”. A former architect, inventor and teacher, Michael brings a wealth of practical experience to the crop circle subject from the world of designing, making and of manipulating solid matter in the material world. However, in his more than twenty years of involvement with the crop circles, he has also made a veritable art-form of the deconstruction of crop circle designs to better understand their symbolism and, most importantly, their geometric properties. Nobody has undertaken more in this field than Michael. As a result, his work on the geometry of the circles is respected throughout the crop circle research community worldwide.
Michael is a much-loved and influential figure in the crop circle world. Often outspoken, sometimes controversial, but always with a sharp wit, he is a renowned and inspirational speaker and writer; he has long occupied a central space at the heart of research into this phenomenon. Michael has written many articles on the crop circles including key contributions to the once great Cereologist magazine. His book, “Crop Circles“ (1996) is published by Wooden Books and is now in its third revised edition. He is also author of “Cornography“ (2007) and most recently “Crop Circles: The Bones of God“ (2009). This website is the latest incarnation of his work that will bring his informed comment to the global community of the world-wide-web.

We are setting up a donation appeal to raise the funds to get the 2016 crop circle year book into production. If everyone on our mailing list can donate £5.00 or more, then this will help immensely to get the 2016 crop circle year book printed. Hope you can make a donation at this time. Thank you to everyone who has made a donation. See Below

To help us judge how many of the new Crop Circle Year Books 2016 we will need to have printed, it would be helpful if people could email us to register if they would like to have a copy, or copies. More than ever it is difficult to finance a print run of the year book series, so this information would be very helpful to know.

As you know we have not been able to put the book out so far due to financial restraints. But if we know that a certain amount of people will buy a copy, then we can go ahead with the print run.

After 30 days we have to pay for the print run, so knowing almost exactly how many we need to pay for is extremely helpful at this moment in time. You can register your interest in the Crop Circle Year Book 2016 by emailing us here.

Please also inform us on how many copies you would like to have.
Thank you in advance for your help

This edition is out of print. But we do currently have one secondhand copy in good condition available.

Our Year Books are printed in small numbers and we don’t now reprint them when they are sold out. This means that out of print editions become collectors items often selling for around £100 each second-hand on the internet.

Occasionally, we obtain secondhand copies of our out of print titles and we do then offer them for sale on this website to allow collectors to obtain copies they may not have. The prices reflect the scarcity and condition of that particular title and all monies raised goes into funding our future work.
