Matterley Basin, nr Cheesefoot Head, Winchester Hampshire, UK 25^th July 2016 Wheat.

This is a rather elegant six-fold formation, based around the hexagram. It measures approximately 180ft in diameter and is in a field of ripe wheat.

The date of the 25th of July is rather approximate as there have been rumours of a formation in this location swirling around for a few weeks with no confirmation. Certainly by the time we flew on the 4th of August the formation looked like it had been there sometime, so a date of the 25th doesn’t feel at all out of the question and in fact it is possible it was there before that date.

Thank you to everyone that came to this years Summer Lectures and made it such a memorable event. 

For over ten years we have hosted one major crop circle event each year and that is The Summer Crop Circle Lectures an annual conference in Devizes, UK.

This is a 2-hour online webinar hosted by Karen Alexander exploring the crop circles of the 2016 season. This two hour presentation will look at the formations that have occurred during 2016, their symbolism, geometry and narrative.
