Crop Circle At The Wilton Windmill.

Wilton Windmill, Wilton, Wilts. 15th July 2016, barley crop.

This pretty little formation appeared in a field by the side of the windmill at Wilton. It has been suggested that the pattern is made from two mirrored Golden Section spirals to create the heart-shape. One of the novel things about this formation is the strange ‘smile’ shape in the laid crop – it seems the trickster element of this phenomenon is ever with us!
You can read more about Wilton Windmill on their website. It is fully working windmill,  is open to visitors and makes a lovely day out. The Windmill hosts a number of events for visitors throughout the year  – see website link above for ll the details.
Another Crop Circle Lands At Hackpen Hill. The Season Hots Up!

Hackpen Hill, nr Broad Hinton, Wiltshire. 16th July 2016. Wheat.

There has already been one formation at Hackpen Hill this season (see the first on here). This second formation lies below the Ridgeway on the other side of the road from the chalk horse  on the side of the escarpment. It is another formation to employ six-fold geometry and seems to marry circles and triangles – the relationship between unity and trinity. The formation measures approximately 120ft in diameter and is in a field of wheat.
The farmer has opened this field to visitors and is charging £3.00 per person with money going to the Brighter Futures cancer charity. You pay your money before entry to the field. Park at the top of Hackpen Hill, where the Ridgeway intersects the road, then walk down the road and you will see the circle in the the field  – you pay your money on the opposite side of the road at the collection point – thanks.
Can You Make A Donation To Help Us?

We really, really need your help and support to raise funds to fly the crop circles this season. 2016 is our toughest season yet and without urgent support we will be unable to continue.

Like all those who provide information and artworks via the web, it is becoming increasingly difficult to find the funding we need to continue to generate the images and information. We realise these are difficult times and that some think that materials on the internet should be for free, or simply think that everyone else is doing the supporting. But we are asking each and everyone of you that enjoys the coverage of the crop circles we provide to dig deep and support us. Thank you.
