We
had a report of an impressive formation close to Etchilhampton on the 19th of August from someone who drove passed the field containg the recent crop circle with the weaved floor lay, which appeared on the 4th of August, soon after our annual conference in Devizes.
At first we thought it was a case
of double reporting as the report was of a formation in the same field.
But it was soon to become clear that the report was indeed of a fresh new crop circle.
The harvest is on hold, as we have had a conveyer belt of weather fronts
hitting the UK, bringing with them rain, and wind. Very unseasonal for this time of year.
For us trying to fly any new formation is almost possible at present. But on this occasion with a late cancellation of a flight by someone else at our helicopter company, we took the flight at the last moment to record this latest
event at Etchilhampton, close to Devizes in Wiltshire.
Rather than the floor lay of this formation being laid in the traditional fashion, the lay was again, as we have seen several times this year, very interesting indeed.
