Thank

All our work recording the crop circles is self-financed. The yearly cost of flights over the circles alone runs into many thousands of pounds. A flight costs between £400-£800. The sale of our photographs, Year Books and other items via our online shop helps to offset some of that cost, but with increasing overheads across the board of our activities it
is becoming more and more difficult to find the finance we need to record the circles.
If you feel that you would like to make a donation towards our ongoing recording of the crop circles you can make a donation through our online shop. We would gratefully receive anything that you consider appropriate, no matter how small the amount.

Field report crop circle near Tarlton,
Glos, visited 09:10 21st April 2015.

A very interesting formation and unlike any I've seen before. The circlemakers chose this field of what I took to be winter wheat, barely 30cm high – despite its being surrounded by fields full of well-grown oilseed rape - only three fields away from last year's 15th July formation and making an exact straight line with the 27th July
2015 formation at Cherington 3.5km away.

Geometry in new crop circle at Tarlton.
|
|
The second formation of 2015 was reported at Tarlton in Gloucestershire and was a small design of around 20-30ft. The formation was initially reported as being in grass, but is likely that it is in fact in very young immature barley. Normally we don't see formations in such young crop. The circles often show a respect for life, and don't occur until the crop reaches its growing maturity. However, that said, it is not the first time a
circle has appeared in such immature crop - it's just rare. The design was standing a four-petalled flower in a flattened central circle, then thirteen smaller rings interconnect around the perimeter of the circle. It has been very difficult to ascertain the exact design, as the formation was so faint in the field and clearly difficult to photograph. It is my best guess, that the thirteen perimeter rings, do not connect perfectly and therefore a fourteenth partial circle is added to finish the
design satisfactorily. You can just about see this in the available photographs. As any geometer will tell you, dividing the 360 degrees of a circle into thirteen equal segments is not possible using whole numbers and we then delve into the realms of numbers with never ending decimals. This makes getting a perfect thirteen around one problematic. Interestingly, the four petals in the centre are one way of constructing a square around a circle. Four is the number of the material realm, 3D
reality, or mother substance, the world - here! Whereas Thirteen is the number of transformation, the first number to transcend the number sequence of 1 - 12. The addition of a partial fourteenth circle is interesting symbolically, could this represent the emergence of something nascent out of our time of transition? Finally, on the drawing board, and as near as I could get the design, I found a (fat) seven fold star proportioning the flattened circle and the outer perimeter rings. Seven is the
number of spirit, revelation, and what lies beyond the veil. All in all, the numbers were interesting. You can see my finished painting of the formation below, and my sketch showing the fat seven above.
Note: there are two seven fold stars. One fat, one thin!

Please help us raise money for our flights to record the crop circles in the UK...
We have always been committed to providing the best quality crop circle photography anywhere. Not only as a record of the phenomenon as it unfolds, but also as a legacy for future generations. High quality images are essential for the future and not only will hold more information, but will also show the
magnificence of the crop circles in the landscape and hopefully record the majesty and beauty of the circles for generations who were not there to witness them first hand. The cost of obtaining our high quality images each year is huge (running
in to thousands of pounds). We hire a small helicopter and use high-end digital SLRs to record the images. While it is true that there are cheaper methods for photographing the circles, there is a more damaging cost to the quality of pictures possible using there methods (drones etc.) where using expensive digital cameras would not be practical or possible. Because of our commitment to quality and our awareness of costs, we regularly review our practices and at the moment (as of 2015) we remain convinced that our current operating methods allow us to get the best images possible. It is through the sales of our year books, photos and other merchandise that meeting the cost of our photography possible. We also reply on our donors who very kindly help top up our flight fund each year. We never take any of our
supporters for granted and are constantly humbled and amazed at their generosity. Every sale and every donation, no matter how humble counts, and helps us continue to record this beautiful phenomenon. Here
are a few ways you can help (not all include sales or donations). 1. You can make a donation. Click on the button below to find out more about making a donation. 2. You can help by making purchases from our online shop. Sales of our products help directly finance our work. Many send gifts to friends and loved ones - all sales really do help. 3. If you are unable to make a donation or purchase yourself, perhaps you
know someone who might? Please pass on details of our website to anyone you know who might be able to help. 4. You can also help by publicizing our website on social networking sites or on your own website if you have one. We can supply graphics and banners for website adverts/inclusions. We would also be grateful if you could add us to your links page. Finally ... We'd like to say again that we very much appreciate all the support we receive from you and we never take it for granted.
