Things have been quiet on the Temporary Temples front for the last month or so, as we had to take some time out from the crop circle world to respond to a family illness. But we are now back at our desks and wanted to update you with what we've been doing and what's up and coming...
A Brand New Website!
For the past couple of months we have been working away on our brand new website which we will be launching in the near future. We haven't had an update to our website for a while and it's time we did a complete redesign to bring the site right up to date with compatibility for mobiles/cells and tablets.
2014 has been a pretty frustrating year on the website front as its taken us a while to get new things into place. Our old webmaster bowed out earlier in the year and with the season about to begin, it wasn't possible to start work on anything new until now.
Subsequently, we've been limited to essential updates on the site only, with no blogs, or special offers. It's been like trying to work with one hand tied behind our backs! Thankfully, we have been working with a great company to remedy all of this and at the moment we are going through the 'painful' process of learning to update the website ourselves. This is no easy task, we are not website literate at all! But we are persevering and hope to bring you news of the site launch as soon as it's finished. To give you a taster I've included some screen shots of our new home page design below...
We will be doing lots of new things with the website including enhancing the image library. From 2014 each formation will have its own page with written information, multiple photographic images and Karen's beautiful drawings. It's all very exciting, looking stunningly beautiful, and we can't wait to get it finished to show you. For those of you that use social media we will be launching a new Facebook Page to work in concert with the new website. The page will keep everyone updated with the latest news and hopes to better connect our community to one another.
Crop Circle Year Book 2014
We are also now very busy getting the new Crop Circle Year Book together. 2014 was an an amazing year for the circles, and in getting all the images together, we are reminded of just how many stunning crop circles we had this year. The book should be an absolute stunner with contributions from several researchers and a magnificent display of Steve's majestic photography and a selection of Karen's colourful paintings.
We will be opening advance orders for the Year Book on our existing website next week. We'll let you know when orders open. As always, please order as early as you can to help us organise the mail-out of the books when they arrive from the printers. It's always a rush to get them out for Christmas - so please, please order yours straight away.
We will also be adding a 2014 Gift Set as per usual. The set will include A Year Book 2014, Calendar 2015 and a set of six greetings cards with paintings of the 2014 crop circles by Karen.

About the Crop Circle Photo Set 2014: The crop circles of 2014 took us outside of the familiar bounds of the Pewsey Vale in Wiltshire into Hampshire, Sussex, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Warwickshire. Fantastic pentagrams, hexagrams and spirals appeared. Even a 'Man-in-the-Moon' and a spectacular 'Eye' at the end of the season. Many formations had incredible ground details with woven and patterned floor-lays - a decisive move into emphasising 'inner-space' and the 'interior'.

The 2015 calendar has some of the most interesting, spectacular, and fondly remembered crop circles from the past. There are 12 stunning images, and colourful crop circle graphics by Bertold Zugelder . All photography is by top crop circle photographer Steve Alexander, with an introduction by crop circle writer Karen Alexander, both authors of the popular Crop Circle Year Book series. The calendar has an attractive grid, and plenty of room to write your appointments in for the year. Each month also shows the previous month, and the next month for a quick glance at what has passed, and what is coming in the near future.
