Crop Circles & Geometry Workshop

With Michael Glickman & Karen Alexander

Friday 25th July 6.30pm - 8.30pm

Price £50.00

Michael Glickman & Karen Alexander will be your guides through the realms of sacred geometry and drawing the crop circle forms. Explore the numbers, ratios and proportions found in the crop circle designs and then try your hand at drawing some crop circle patterns!

This fascinating workshop will be a hands-on experience, with plenty of opportunity to try exercises with compass and straight edge - to feel (in your hands) the way the crop circle patterns come together.

Don't worry if you are a novice, there will be plenty of help on hand and we will provide all your drawing equipment!

As always, we anticipate that this will be a very popular workshop, so please book early, limited places are available.

The workshop will be held in the Assembly Room on the upper floor of the Town Hall
and will run from 6.30pm - 8.30pm.

Michael Glickman is a much-loved, respected and influential figure of the crop circle community, whose work on the geometry and interpretation of the crop circles has spanned over 20 years. A former architect, inventor and teacher, he is now a renowned, inspirational and often out-spoken speaker and writer; he has long occupied a central space at the heart of research into this phenomenon. Michael has written many articles on the crop circles. His book, Crop Circles (published by Wooden Books), is now in its third revised edition. He is also author of Cornography (2007) and most recently Crop Circles: The Bones of God (2009).

Karen Alexander is a long time circles researcher (1990-present day) who has for many years brought a thoughtful and introspective touch to researching the crop circles. A respected and influential speaker and writer, her work seamlessly fuses sacred art, spirituality, psychology and philosophy - the scholarly and the intuitive. Karen is perhaps best known as the writer behind the annually published Crop Circle Year Books (1999 - 2013) and Crop Circles: Signs, Wonders & Mysteries (Arcturus, 2006 & updated in 2009 & 2014). Her hand drawn images and paintings of the crop circles are widely admired.

Karen will be your host for the weekend and co-facilitator of the Friday evening Crop Circles, & Geometry Workshop and the Saturday Crop Circles & Consciousness Workshop

About Us:
Steve Alexander has been photographing the crop circles for twenty years. During that time he and Karen have provided a important service to the crop circle world by supplying professional quality photographic imagery of the circles to researchers, the media and the general public.

Since 1999 they have produced an annual Year Book showcasing the very best formations of each year along with a written commentary researched by Karen Alexander. The Crop Circle Year Book books are beautifully produced and they contain some of the best crop circle photography you will find anywhere. They are self-published, in small numbers and are not widely available, many consider them to be the most important crop circle documents available.
