New UK Circles to Report...
Two new circles to report this time...
The first appeared at Etchilhampton Hill on the 6th of August. It took us a few days to get up in the air to record it because of changeable weather in the UK. This formation is one of the largest of the summer and has an intriguing design with a cube at its centre.
The second circle appeared two days later, but was only to last a few hours before the field was harvested. A very delicate double spiral reminiscent of the Martinsell Hill formation of last year. It looked to have a pretty floor lay - we are hoping to source some from anyone who may have been lucky enough to see it on the ground.

Latest Drawings...
A Geometric study of the Oliver's Castle (Roundway) formation - by Karen Alexander
Pencil Outline - drawing the pattern reveals that there is no underlying triangle - but three sets of points.
Placing the small circles on the concentric rings was done by noting the degree of arc on the photo and then reproducing it on the drawing.
Triangulation, or three-ness is a common theme in crop circle design. The transcendence of duality by the third could be linked to a new state of consciousness where the divisions of duality are transcended by a new integrated way of perceiving.
