Since then, John has become the editor of the hugely influential Wooden Books series, a series of erudite and beautifully designed books covering the sciences and the liberal arts. Another early achievement was his work on the geometry of the solar system which was later published as The Little Book of Coincidence as part of the Wooden book pantheon. In 2013 John will present his latest research in this particular area.

Gary Biltciffe

Gary Biltcliffe was born in 1960 and brought up in Lancashire. He has dedicated the last 30 years to research of earth mysteries. He has appeared on radio and television and has lectured widely in the UK and North America. Gary has also led International groups around Britain's sacred sites and written articles for journals and magazines. He moved to Dorset in 1993 and his research of the county's ancient history culminated in his first publication The Spirit of Portland, Revelations of a Sacred Isle in 2009. His latest book The Spine of Albion is a result of a 15 year quest to uncover Britain's longest north/south axis the Belinus line. The Belinus line connects six major cities including capitals of England and Scotland from the Isle of Wight to Durness at the very tip of Northern Scotland. Whilst researching this lesser known alignment, the authors discovered accompanying hidden pathways channelling a mysterious force that the ancient indigenous tribes around the world associated with a mythical creature called the dragon.

He has also published several further books that explore physics, consciousness and past lives. Most notably, Ian Baillie has vivid memories of several different past lives and he has spent many years investigating and corroborating his recollections. His story is both fascinating and profound. Added to this is his longtime involvement in the crop circle phenomenon, were he uses his knowledge of both physics and consciousness to great effect.

Elizabeth Zollinger

Elizabeth Zollinger became interested in strange phenomena as a youngster. When, coincidentally, she saw an interview about crop circles in 1999, she immediately wanted to find out more. In 2000 she travelled to Wiltshire for the first time, she has travelled there very year since. During the past three years, she developed an interest in the influence debunkers were seeming to have on the subject. It seemed to her that their statements were often illogical and rather full of aggression against serious researchers. She set out to study this and the effect it seemed to have on others. In writing her book "Crop Circles: An Open Case" Elizabeth has tried to show the phenomenon from many different angles, to separate facts, lies and hypotheses, so that people interested in this phenomenon could study them and make up their own minds. Elizabeth is a psychotherapist (MA in clinical psychology 1979, University of Zurich) who works with young children and adolescents who have problems at school.

Dan Vidler

DAN VIDLER IS a teacher, ardent crop circle enthusiast, photographer and webmaster of ukcropcircles.co.uk, documenting the interiors and ground details of the crop circles. He has been a regular and popular speaker at the Summer Lectures since their inception. Dan has a keen eye for the fine detail of the circles; the lay of the crop and other significant ground details. Each year he presents us with the intrigues and delights of the interior of the best crop circles of the year, so easily missed by all but the most eagle-eyed.
