Welcome to the Temporary Temples Newsletter.
In this edition we have three new beautiful circles to report. A circle at Picked Hill in Wiltshire, one at Chilcomb Down near Winchester and another at Corley in Warwickshire.
The Picked Hill formation was yet another in the series of creatures that have appeared in the vicinity of Alton Barnes. This time the creature appeared to be curled up - as if sleeping, or in death. This series has charted small sperm-like creatures, a massive 'adult' serpent and now this curled up creature.
The Chilcomb Down formation was a very intriguing design. A transparent cube that used a variation on
two-point projection. I believe this is the first time this has been used
in a crop circle design. Transparency and 'diaphany' are two key words associated with Gebser's fifth stage of human consciousness. To me, this is another formation which comments on the transformation of the material word.
This week we made the 2 hour drive up to the Midlands to record an amazing circle that appeared at a place called Corley, near Coventry. This beautiful crop circle is probably one of the best of the season (so far).

This is a very intriguing design using a variation on two-point projection. I believe this is the first time this has been used in a crop circle design.
Corley, nr Coventry Warks.
11th July 2012 - Wheat - approx 200ft in diameter.
This was probably the best formation of the year (so far). A beautiful 6-fold star design with an intricate pattern of triangles between each of the points.
