Been enjoying Karen Alexander's Blog?
For any of you who have been enjoying reading Karen Alexanders blog, and have been fascinated by the geometry of the circles, then we have a fantastic workshop for you!
Come and learn about drawing the crop circles, their geometry and the interpretation of the circles via their shapes and proportions. Learn about the idea of sacred geometry and how it relates specifically to the crop circle phenomenon.
Try your own hand at drawing some basic sacred geometry forms and then learn about how to approach drawing the circles. This workshop could be the seed that sets you on your own path of investigation of the phenomenon!
You can attend this workshop without attending the rest of the conference. But be quick, we have just a handful of places left!
Crop Circle Geometry Workshop
(with Michael Glickman & Karen Alexander)
Friday 27th July 6.00pm - 8.30pm
The Corn Exchange, Devizes.
Price £50.00 (includes light refreshments)
Understanding the geometry of the crop circles is something that has preoccupied researchers since the phenomenon first came to the public's attention. The magnificent and complex crop circle forms contain numbers and proportions that once understood, open a window onto a whole world of possibilities in interpreting the phenomenon.
This fascinating workshop will be a hands-on introduction to the geometry of the crop circles, with an opportunity to do some drawing and geometry for yourself. We will explore basic geometric forms, the notion of 'sacred geometry', the philosophy of numbers and how these subjects shed light on the crop circle designs. We will provide drawing instruments and paper. Light refreshments will also be provided.
The workshop is to be led by veteran circles researchers Michael Glickman and Karen Alexander who bring their considerable experience in this field to the event.
