Presentation:
Explorations and Implications of UFOs and Crop Circles as Signatures of a New Emerging Myth
Jung suggested that UFOs were "collective synchronicities" indicating that they pointed to a union of something psychological as well as physically real. The research on crop circles has also explored this interpenetrating relationship of psyche and matter. My talk will explore the possibility that synchronicity and the psyche-matter conjunction that lies at its heart may signal the emergence of a new 'alchemical' myth of which the 'above' (UFOs) and the 'below' (crop circles) are major collective signatures. We will look at some of the features of this new worldview which includes experiences of an in-between subtle imaginal (psychoidal) realm, necessitates the inclusion of the paranormal as part of reality, posits the co-creative force of consciousness, and expands our sense of ourselves as citizens no only of earth but also of the cosmos. My talk will also review some crop circle dreams and consider some of the challenges of the human psyche's exposure to the numinosum or 'mystery of life' that we are offered by the presence of crop circles among us.

ABOUT OUR EVENT:
The Summer Crop Circle Lectures is the world's leading crop circle conference. Researchers and enthusiasts gather together from around the globe each summer to present and share new ideas, experiences and research into this enigmatic phenomenon. Our programme combines top national and international speakers, along with exciting newcomers to provide a broad collection of ideas and thinking on the subject. Above all, the weekend is a celebration of the inspiration and influence these magnificent forms have had on our culture and it is an opportunity to meet new people and network with like-minded souls. Our conference is firmly centred around the crop circles, but that focus should not be confused with a narrowness of vision. The circles are considered alongside many other related subjects and disciplines, which makes for a stimulating, vibrant and wide-ranging programme. We even schedule in sessions for you to quiz our speakers after their presentations! The conference is organised and hosted by well-known and seasoned crop circle researchers Karen Alexander and Steve Alexander, supported by the generous collaboration and consultation of many of their crop circle colleagues.
We have been described as 'the crop circle master class' the 'researchers conference' and 'the World's leading crop circle conference'!
We look forward to welcoming you ...
