"The Milk Hill formation of 2011 was one of my favourite
crop circles of the year. Not only was the location incredibly beautiful, but the
formation itself was one of those circles that was multi-layered in geometry
and meaning. It was beautifully made, and even when Steve and I got to visit it
sometime after its appearance it was still stunning inside, with precise
cookie-cutter edges and elegantly laid crop.
The formation occurred in two phases, the first on
the 6th of July, the second two nights later on the 8th. The
first phase appeared as in figures 1 & 1a. On the drawing board, the
formation comprised three flattened rings and a partially hidden tripartite
form. The pattern has an immediate Celtic Knot-like feel to it, the way in
which the three points of the triangular-shape seem to come from behind the
central ring and travel up to touch the perimeter of the design before
disappearing behind the second ring, adds a three-dimensional quality to the
design and suggests that there is something hidden..."

The 2011 season was a slow starter with more simplistic patterns occurring earlier in the year. However as the summer progressed so did the crop circle designs, getting ever more complex as we approached the harvest. Formations that are included in this package are: The early oilseed rape beauties at Silbury Hill and Hannington, baffling barley circles at West Kennet, Hackpen Hill and Barbury Castle, to the challenge of the 'pipe smoking alien and the serotonin molecule at Oliver's Castle, to the transcendence of the fifth dimensional cube at Jubilee Plantation. Also included in this photo set are the only images available of the tremendous formation at Temple Balsall in the Midlands. With images only been shown of this formation at a crop circle event for only a few seconds, the formation was then cloaked in a veil of secrecy. National security was the explanation given for its brief appearance, before it was hidden away! Still to this day, images from elsewhere are not available of this crop circle. We took the long flight to photograph this formation so that everyone would have the opportunity to see it!

2. Flight Fund Appeal 2012
We continue to need financial help to continue our flying. We will now be working towards costs for the 2012 season.
Keeping up with all the circles as they happen has been a struggle this year. Increased costs have hit us hard.

The Crop Circle Year Book books are beautifully produced and they contain some of the best crop circle photography you will find anywhere. They are self-published, in small numbers and are not widely available, many consider them to be the most important crop circle documents available.
