Three new circle events to report!
Hi everyone,

Firstly, apologies for this newsletter being a little late, this time of year is always busy. We are also in the count down to our annual conference - just three weeks away now.

We are still very much in urgent need your donations and custom on our online shop to keep us flying - our  popular 8 book Year Book set is still available at a fantastic price as is our set of 10 x 15 prints from last year - see below for details. But we also have a wide range of other crop circle images and films for you to look at. Click on the header at the top of this email to visit our website and there is a link to our donation page - if you scroll down this newsletter.

This week we have THREE new circle events to report! See below for images. There has since been two further circle events - we will be reporting on them to you in the next few days.

We have a new blog about the Winterbourne Stoke 'serpent' formation - see right-hand column below for details and a link.

May we also remind you again to book your tickets for our conference if you haven't already. Places are going fast! Our Night-watch/vigil is now sold out and seats on our coach tour are going fast - book now to avoid disappointment!

We will have lecture tickets available for purchase on the door on the weekend itself.  But if you book in advance there is a discount when booking for both days that won't be available on the weekend itself.

The conference is our annual opportunity to catch-up with you all - so please join us if you can.

News...

1. NEW events at Honey Street (3), East Kennett additions & Barbury Castle, Wiltshire. Reported 2nd & 4th July 2011. Wheat.

The arrival of the beautiful circle at Barbury Castle saw the season move up a gear.  The design, a set of nested crescents, was reminiscent of formations like East Meon 1995 and The Angel of 2001.  Meanwhile, the East Kennett ringed circle received additional rings.  The Honey Street formation (now the third circle to appear at Honey Street) has been interpreted as some sort of code. It could be that it shows a series of numbers which pin-points its location on an OS map!
Here are some images of the new events. We will cover some of the formations in detail in forthcoming blogs.

Barbury Castle, Wilts. July 2nd 2011. Barley

East Kennett, Wilts. (additions)  22nd June 2011. Barley

Honey Street (3), Wilts. July 4th 2011. Wheat

2. Flight Fund Appeal - Now Urgent

We continue to need urgent financial help to continue our flying this summer.

Keeping up with all the circles as they happen is a real struggle at present.

We realise that the financial climate is having an effect on a lot of you too, but if anyone can help by making a donation no matter how small to our flight fund, or by making a purchase from our online store it would help us enormously.

Without your urgent help and support we will not be able to continue.

We deeply appreciate all your donations and purchases - without you we just couldn't continue...

THANK-YOU!

About Us:
Steve Alexander has been photographing the crop circles for twenty years. During that time he and Karen have provided a important service to the crop circle world by supplying professional quality photographic imagery of the circles to researchers, the media and the general public.

Since 1999 they have produced an annual Year Book showcasing the very best formations of each year along with a written commentary researched by Karen Alexander. The Crop Circle Year Book books are beautifully produced and they contain some of the best crop circle photography you will find anywhere. They are self-published, in small numbers and are not widely available, many consider them to be the most important crop circle documents available.

Anarchy in the UK!
Karen looks at one of the recent Winterbourne Stoke formations, in her latest blog...

"Of course many wanted to simply write this crop circle off as a one-dimensional man-made tribute to a long gone punk band. This may or may not be true, but as ever, I think there is something bigger at work, and that there are many connections between the physically manifested world of crop circles and the un-manifest realm of human consciousness. To me this is why there is something much more to the whole crop circle subject than just endless arguments over their perceived origins. Here we have a logo, clearly used by the punk group Crass, but is it also a symbol of anarchy on our fields?."
