We would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.
For many people 2017 was a challenging year. In fact it seems that for the last few years the challenges
confronting people have become steeper. Everyone we know has to some extent been through the mill. But hopefully we come out the other end stronger and wiser. We do hope that our efforts in 2017 recording the circles, and making observations about the phenomenon, has managed to bring some joy, wonder and excitement to the year, especially when life can be nothing short of
difficult.
We would like to thank all the people who supported us throughout the year, thank the circle makers who continually inspire, and as we always say “the journey continues. We hope you stay with us on that journey in 2018. Steve & Karen

As many of you will know, Karen has had health issues for some time now and this has eventually culminated in a hysterectomy which was done yesterday. Many of you have been asking about how she is doing. So here is an update.
The operation took four hours, and was very involved. Although in pain, and drugged up after such an ordeal, she is glad it is all over, and would like to tell everyone that she is grateful for all the good wishes that were sent to her by many people prior to the operation. Of course it will take sometime for her to recover, and we are not sure when she will be home. She would also like to thank everyone for their concern and good
wishes post operation.
The operation was cancelled two times, so it was third time lucky, as her condition had deteriorated to where the procedure needed to be done. The operation was originally scheduled to take place in June but of course we had to cover the crop circle season and run the conference so it had to be put on the back burner. This is an extraordinary little book. It explores the sublime numerology of the famous 2002 Crooked Soley crop circle, its location and its far
reaching implications. Richly illustrated, beautifully photographed and written by two of the leading experts in the field, Crooked Soley is like no other crop circle book you’ve ever read. This book became legendary when it was published, and was very much missed when it went out of print some time ago. The book contains photographs of this crop circle by Steve Alexander who was the only photographer that was able to photograph the formation before the farmer cut it out. The time period between
it being photographed and when it was cut out was less than an hour. That is in itself a story. This formation was almost never captured on film, and in turn no book would have been possible.
It contains an afterword by Patrick Harpur, author of Daimonic Reality and The Philosophers’ Secret Fire, entitled Mercurius In the Cornfield, a classic essay on the crop circle
phenomenon. The book is both informative and light hearted. No conclusions are reached, but no-one, having read the contents, is going to walk away from this book without stopping to pause for thought.
