Crop Circle Year Book 2016 Update!
Image
We are pleased to announce that the Crop Circle Year Book 2016 is now at the printers.

This has been a very difficult period for both of us, as we have not been well, especially Karen.
Karen goes back into hospital in September, as she has had to delay an operation because of the crop circle season. Unfortunately this has not been ideal as covering the season, and trying to get the book published has been very demanding and stressful. This period of ill health was not anticipated when the book went on sale.
The book is very late being published and we would like to thank everyone who has purchased a copy, or copies for their great patience.

We will keep everyone updated as to when the books are coming back from the printers, and when they are going to be dispatched.
New Formation at Battlesbury Camp Hillfort, Wilts.
Image
Battlesbury Camp Hillfort, nr Warminster, Wiltshire. 5th July 2017, Wheat 200 ft approx.

We did not get to fly this formation straight away as it was in the Danger Zone of Salisbury Plain an active military area. They had high level activity going on for several days, so we were not granted permission to fly into the zone. All drones that were flying and taking photos of this crop circle should of not be doing so!

Because the area has been active for a few days we were not given permission to enter by air space until the 11th of July, several days after it appeared on the 5th. The circle had clearly even visited but it was still in good condition. The formation measures approximately 200-220ft in diameter and is a variation of the quintuplet (five dots on a dice) pattern. Different interpretations of this design have been an almost constant in crop circle design since its earliest times and have appeared regularly in one form or another for over twenty five years. This variation is particularly elegant, the wide bands that make up the pattern are like ribbon twisting around the circles. It ‘of course’ squares the circle as just about all quintuplet crop circles tend to do which is quite some coincidence!

About Us.
Steve Alexander has been photographing the crop circles for twenty years. During that time he and Karen have provided a important service to the crop circle world by supplying professional quality photographic imagery of the circles to researchers, the media and the general public.

Since 1999 they have produced an annual Year Book showcasing the very best formations of each year along with a written commentary researched by Karen Alexander. The Crop Circle Year Book books are beautifully produced and they contain some of the best crop circle photography you will find anywhere. They are self-published, in small numbers and are not widely available, many consider them to be the most important crop circle documents available.
