SESSION 4: In session 4 of The Magnificent Sevens course, in addition to exploring the Roundway crop circle of 1999 (above), we will also be looking at the Birth of Seven from the Vesica Pisces diagram. As part of this exploration we will look at the idea of the 'Creation Myth of Sacred Geometry', what it is, why it's important and how it helps us understand the crop circles. The creation myth of sacred geometry describes the unfolding of number in space, from the mysterious 'Point of Origin', to the creation of the circle and then
the generation of unity, to create multiplicity. Each step is illustrated by a series of geometric drawings that help not only in understanding the geometries of any given number, but also their behaviours and meanings. This is not in anyway as daunting as it sounds and because geometry is such a visual language, it much easier to understand just by looking at it it. Have you ever noticed how many of the words we use in geometry refer to relationships - beginning with the word ratio? We'll also take a foray into how the processes of geometry imply the idea of relationship and how their use in the crop circles may also imply the hand of friendship offered by the phenomenon. Once we see how
the creation myth unfolds, we can the explore the way in which seven is born form the Vesica Pisces (with a drawing exercise). Seven is unique in the numbers 1 - 10 and the way it emerges from the Vesica is equally as unique and fascinating. We will go on to recall the Greek myth of the birth of Athena and how it links to the unique way seven is
created from the Vesica - and what it tells us about the nature of the decad's virginal number. _______ SESSION FOUR OUTLINE Welcome!

1-3, you can buy the all the session materials and the video recording of the free online sessions from the course webpage. Can't attend the session? No problem, your ticket will get you all the session materials - handouts, images and PDFs
and a video recording of the free online session. You can then peruse them at your leisure. Interested in the geometry of the crop circles, but don't feel confident enough to join in the drawing? No problem, we realise not everyone wants to to the drawing, so you are very welcome
to watch these parts of the session, to see how it's done.
