Bookings Open! SESSION 3: The Acute Heptagram
In session 3 we will be focussing on the acute heptagram
(the second of the two heptagram stars), both in its geometric properties and some of the crop circle designs it has been woven into, both exoterically, and esoterically where it has been used to proportion crop circle designs.
We will look at two formations, firstly the Ackling Dyke crop circle of 2018, a stunning acute sevenfold star contained by a series of stylised boxed spirals – we
will draw this circle as part of the live session. Secondly, we will look at the beautiful and hugely symbolic Barbury Castle formation of 2021, a set of twelve grail chalices, proportioned by an acute heptagram star. In our examination of this formation we will look at how seven and twelve relate to the legend of the grail and the scared nature of number and geometry. Finally, we will look at another method for dividing a circle into seven, this time using two nested triangles in a circle, from Michael Schneider’s Constructing the Universe workbook series. SESSION THREE OUTLINE Welcome!
About this course/ongoing sessions:
Part One: Presentation - The Acute heptagram properties and qualities
- The Acute heptagram in crop circle design
- The Acute heptagram in the proportioning of the crop circles
- The curious case of the 12 grail chalices at Barbury Castle in 2020 and the hidden seven that
proportions them.
Part Two: Drawing
- Michael Schneider's Division by Seven
Part Three: Drawing
- The Ackling Dyke circle of 2018
Missed Sessions 1 &
2? Don't worry if you missed the first two sessions, you can still buy the materials and the video recording of the live sessions from the Magnificent Sevens page on our website. Pervious attendance at these sessions is not necessary to attend session 3. Not sure about
drawing? Drawing during the live session is not compulsory, but it will greatly aid your understanding of the crop circles if you do. I'm very happy for those who don't wish to draw to simply watch the drawing section. Below: The acute heptagram drawn by Karen Alexander
