Above: The Danebury Hill seven-fold of 1998. Begins: Sunday 23rd February 2025 6.00pm – 8.00pm UK time. Bookings Open! The first appearance of seven-fold geometry in the crop
circles
Of all the geometries seen in the crop circle phenomenon, seven is one of the most enigmatic and yet one of the most potently symbolic. It was the late researcher Michael Glickman that first predicted the arrival of sevenfold geometry in a lecture back in the summer of 1997. Seven made it's first appearance in the crop circle phenomenon at the end
of the summer of 1996. During early August a six-armed 'snowflake' pattern had appeared below Oliver's Castle hillfort, near Devizes in Wiltshire. Astonishingly, this crop circle was also accompanied by a video, purportedly showing two balls of light creating the the formation. The video sent shock-waves through the community, and although it remains controversial, Michael was a great proponent of its authenticity. However, the farmer was not so happy about the crop circle in his field and he drove a tractor into the formation and cut it out. Many were incensed, but Michael and his then partner Patricia Murray, drove their car into the field and carried out a geometric survey! Once Michael got his drawing of the formation finished he discovered that
there was a hidden sevenfold proprtioning to the sixfold design (see image below). He was very excited to see this new number appear for the first time in the geometry of the crop circles. Presenting this formation and its hidden geometry in the summer of 1997, he made his prediction.
By the summer of 1998, the first sevenfold crop circle arrived at Danebury Ring (see above) on the 9th of July - Michael was ecstatic! _______ In this ongoing event I will be exploring a number of key ‘seven-formations’ and as I do so, share them with you in a series of online sessions. I’ll be presenting a combination of stories, information, research and the opportunity to draw with me some beautiful seven-formations. These sessions will also include time
for group discussion of the material and the crop circles I’m presenting, in an open and collegiate atmosphere. There is no set timetable for these sessions. Each one will be announced as I have new material to present - but not more than one session per month. I'm hoping to build a library of references and sources to share with my fellow travellers and the sessions will also allow you to build your own collection of drawings and
information to deepen your understanding of both seven-fold geometry and its appearence in the crop circle phenomenon. I’m hoping it’s going to be a fascinating and compelling journey - and I hope you will favour me with your company. This course will be for beginners and veterans alike. There will be something to interest everyone, no matter your knowledge of the subject matter. If the crop circles speak to you, even if you're not quite sure what they might be saying, this course is for you. We have a wonderful online community of people, who will welcome you warmly into the fold. You can read much more
about this event using the link below. Image below: The Oliver's Castle crop circle of 1996, with hidden seven-fold geometry by Michael Glickman.
