Our seminar will be divided into three parts, working over four sessions. - Personal Portfolios
We will firstly work to develop a personal portfolio in three parts: - Portfolio of Participation
- Portfolio of Practice
- Portfolio of Engagement
This will be a personal document that charts your journey and relationship to the crop circle phenomenon. You do not need to be deeply involved, or experienced with the
crop circles, you don’t even need to have visited a crop circle. We will begin with your first contact with the phenomenon, whether that was in the media (news or film), a book you read, a person you met, or an event you attended. We will then explore the effect it had on you, what were your first thoughts about the phenomenon, then move forward in time charting subsequent contacts, how your thinking about the crop circles has changed, what influenced you in those times. We will explore the crop
circles that you have been particularly drawn to and why, any synchronicities you may have experienced in relation to the phenomenon, pertinent dreams, or experiences of high-strangeness you may have had. Participation Your story, the history and development of your involvement, the evolution of your relationship to the
phenomenon. Practice The ways in which you have engaged the crop circle subject which might include (but not limited to); reading, drawing, learning, events, meditations or visiting the circles. Engagement We will look at the crop circles that you have particularly been drawn to. The evolution of your thinking in regard to the crop circles, your experiences, synchronicities, dreams, intuitions, high strangeness and more subtle forms of engagement. We will be looking to identify ways in which you may have already had some form of subtle contact with the phenomenon that you may not
have recognised. We will also have the privilege of listening to the experiences of others and learning from their experiences of the crop circles. We will explore as a group the process of creating your portfolios including the…. - Collection
- Selection
- Reflection
- Projection
… of materials. There will be plenty of ideas and support to group members on how to create their portfolio. As each of our sessions are scheduled for every two weeks, it will give ample time for everyone to consider and
create each stage of their portfolio. This should be a fun, revealing and fascinating process! It’s hoped these portfolios will become an ongoing, developing and growing project in which our engagements can be traced, contemplated and better understood. Collectively as a group, we hope to then facilitate a deeper and wider understanding of how communication between ourselves and the phenomenon works. This will
be an active piece of research in which everyone participates. This is default placeholder text. Edit and replace with whatever you want. Next time in Part 2 we will look at the fascinating idea of 'Bohm Dialogues' and how we will be incorporating some of these ideas into our group exploration and discussion
groups.
