This circle was first reported on the 8th August. The circle was in a field of wheat (close to the earlier Etchilhampton circle which appeared on the 24th July) and measured approximately 150ft in diameter. See the Google Maps link for precise location on our website. This circle is a five-fold spiral design made from circles and arcs of differing sizes.
Unfortunately, we were not able to photograph this crop circle as we did not have enough funds to do so. Thank you to everyone who did donate towards the possible flight. It was a frustrating situation.
Although people have been very generous, it just did not happen.
We knew the formation would not last long because the harvest was almost over, and the field the formation was in was going to be cut in the next few days. So, it was a case of employing Plan B. We contacted our good friend Dan Vidler and told him the formation was there. He quickly
travelled to the location and managed to take some pole shots which you can see on our website HERE
Also, we contacted Ben Sasson who has a drone and he was able to get a few shots. You can see his overhead shot HERE We would like to thank both Dan and Ben for the use of their images.
